Update from the CEO, September 2018
Tena koutou, ngā uri toa o Rāruaioio. Pouri tonu te ngākau mo te wahine toa ko Talei. He wahine kaha i tōna ake oranga, he wahine whakapiripiri tangata i tōna ake haerenga. No reira haere ki a rātou mā kua mene ki te pō, haere haere haere atu rā.
It has been a period of big events since the last pānui. The dramatic storm damages experienced in Tasman, the completion of the Marlborough Regional Aquaculture Settlement allocation and the Ngāti Rārua Iwi Survey.
In addition to business as usual, the office is working through a project to raise the level and quality of its communications with iwi members. I am very grateful to the iwi members who have participated in this project to date. A communications strategy is being presented to the August Board of Trustees meeting.
We are also presenting the report analysing the Iwi survey to the August Board meeting and we are looking forward to sharing the results of this survey with you over the next few months.
Iaianeina kua mutu te kahu o takurua, kua tīmata te karanga o kōanga, we are moving out of winter and into spring.
