Ngā ākonga whakiro pay a visit

Nau mai, haere mai ki Te Whare Mānuka

It was our joy to host ngā ākonga from Te Wānanga o Raukawa as they completed their Te Waipounamu visit in Te Tauihu today.

Students are working towards Poutuarongo toi whakarākai – Whakairo. Their programme includes whakairo rākau while studying iwi narratives, pūrākau and Māori creation stories.

Yesterday they visited Te Āwhina Marae and many made connections with whānau in our rohe.

We wish them a safe trip home, and hope to see them back really soon!
