    Getting the mahi done, together

In the months since Covid-19 reached our shores, our people – the iwi of Te Tauihu – have come together to ensure no whānau is left behind. And we still have a long way to go.

This video message comes from Waihaere Mason, Chairperson of Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Kuia Trust and Olivia Hall, Chairperson of Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Rārua, who remind us that, together, we can achieve so much more.

“Covid-19 has certainly brought us into a strange and challenging world,” says Waihaere, “so it is really important that iwi remain united and support one another through the recovery period and beyond. It is also important that we continue to do the right thing and appreciate the combined mahi being provided for our whānau. On reflection, it is great, that together, we are doing things for ourselves and contributing to the mahi at the highest level.”
