Applications open for Marlborough Lines Tertiary Scholarship

We are pleased to advise that applications are now open for the Marlborough Lines Tertiary Scholarship for Māori.
Open to both school leavers and adult learners, the closing date for applications is 31 October 2022.
Printed application forms are also available from the Marlborough Lines offices at 1 Alfred Street, or copies can be requested by phoning 577 7007 or emailing info@mll.co.nz.
Applicants must:
- Be descended from at least one of the following Marlborough iwi – Ngāti Apa ki te Rā Tō, Ngāti Koata, Ngāi Tahu, Ngāti Kuia, Ngāti Rārua, Ngāti Toa Rangatira, Rangitāne o Wairau and Te Ātiawa o Te Waka-a-Māui.
- Be able to demonstrate their involvement in Te Ao Māori.
- Identify strongly with the Marlborough region.
- Be studying towards a tertiary qualification in the forthcoming academic year.
- Show evidence of the ability to undertake tertiary study.
